![]() I am first a follower of Jesus, husband to my high school sweet heart and love of my life Jalee AKA “Angel” and the father of two amazing kids, Kaden and McKenlee.
I am the lead and founding pastor of Vintage Church. My story begins back in 1999 when I left a corporate career to follow what I believe to be a calling on my life. I served as a youth pastor for almost 6 years in Texas then as a senior associate pastor for four years in Colorado before following God into this crazy dream called Vintage Church. I have a dream to see the church become what God intended and to stop playing religious games… It’s not about buildings, bucks and butts, it’s about helping people find hope, peace and passion through Jesus. Nothing makes me feel more alive than to witness a person come face to face with the redemption of Jesus, because life truly changes at that moment.

Hi. Paul Woolsey here. They said "make your bio interesting." So here we go:
Some Key Points:
My heart for Vintage Students is to prepare them for the insane ride God has ahead for them, and to keep them tied into the health relationships that keep them making wise, God-driven decisions. I can't do it alone, and I'd be absolutely lost without my amazing wife at my side. I'm excited to see what's ahead for Vintage students, and I want you all along for the trainwre- ...ummm... -ride! |
![]() I have been married for 18 years and am a mother of two amazing children. Kaden is 10 and McKenlee is 8. My passion is to see people encounter the living God through corporate and personal worship. I have had to privilege of leading worship for the last 11 years. While in beautiful state of Colorado, I attended New Life School of Worship in Colorado Springs. My hobbies include writing, various arts, and gardening without gloves. It is absolutely necessary for me to begin my day with coffee. It is quite important to maintain my day with the sweet nectar of Diet Coke. Ben and Jerry are very close friends of mine. Although I am a Texas native, I am not a fan of country music or cowboy boots. (I will not hold it against you if you are.) My favorite non-color is black. (Do not hold this against me.)

![]() I dread writing bio’s simply because even if you knew me, you’d still consider me the miniature pincher you got cause you thought it’d be nice to have around when really, it serves no purpose but to be a living motion sensor device that’s far louder, and far more annoying than your kids favorite song that they feel the need to play as loud as possible even though they know they could put in headphones or just play their music quieter. To start, I’m not married and I don’ have two kids. I am a student at Christ For the Nations institute following the call of God on my life. I’m passionate about Jesus and seeing others become passionate about him as well! My hobbies include dabbling in music and creative writing (fun fact! I used to work in a meat market!) So in conclusion I hope this was an entertaining “bio” as they call it and I look forward to what jesus is going to do through vintage students! |
![]() I grew up in Southeast Arkansas with a mom who was a strong believer in being at church every time there was a service. I strongly believe the impact being in church and having my life poured into by great prayer warriors that love God with all their hearts is what helped me grow into who I am today. I knew at a young age that I was called and created to work with children. It was this passion that brought me to Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX in 2006 to pursue a degree in Elementary Education, and somehow in the process I met Jason. God has such a great sense of humor because my first impression of Jason was that he was far from a nice guy, but we’ve been happily married since January 3, 2009. We have the best nieces in the world, and soon we’ll have the best nephew ever! We are the proud (most of the time) owners of a one year old, seven pound Lhasa-Apso named Cooper. He’s the greatest when he wants to be. I have been involved in ministry for 13 years (for those of you who are counting, I was nine) and was super excited to be asked to come help with Vintage Kids. My dream for Vintage Kids is that we would lay the foundation for a new generation of Christ followers in McKinney that will reach out to their friends and classmates to share the Good News of Jesus. I desire to pour into the lives of these kids the same way the sweet people in a country church in Arkansas poured into my life.
